Many advanced learners and even native speakers recognize these words but cannot confidently define them or use them precisely. This app helps you build a deeper, more accurate command of advanced English vocabulary and retain it long-term.

At the core is an adaptive spaced repetition system that adjusts review intervals according to your real memory performance. If you recall a word after a longer delay than expected, the next interval increases. If you hesitate or answer incorrectly, the interval shortens without resetting your progress. This keeps your study focused on the vocabulary that truly needs reinforcement.

Two learning modes support different learning preferences. Multiple Choice enables fast practice with immediate feedback and is ideal for building early recognition. Self-Assessment strengthens active recall: you view a word or a definition, try to retrieve the matching meaning or word yourself, then rate whether you knew it, almost knew it or did not know it. This approach is highly effective for long-term retention.

Content is organized into clear sets so you can study with purpose, for example refined adjectives, precise verbs, uncommon nouns, formal alternatives and high-level vocabulary found in literature or academic contexts. Each card shows the word and a clear definition in simple English, with optional example usage where helpful. You can freely enable or disable sets and adjust your selection at any time without losing progress.

Each set includes a test in which all words appear once. Depending on your result, you earn a silver or gold medal. Tests can be repeated anytime to track improvement clearly.
