The problem with film scanning

When you scan film, the metadata is missing or wrong. The scanner doesn't know your camera. The lab doesn't know your lens. Every scan arrives as a blank slate — and tagging them one by one is slow, tedious, and easy to get wrong.

Latham fixes this with presets. Build a preset for your Leica M6 + Summicron 35mm + Kodak Portra 400 combination once, apply it to an entire roll instantly. Then build another for your Nikon FM2 + 50mm f/1.4 setup. Your presets live in the app, ready to apply whenever you import a new batch.

Not every batch needs the same treatment. Use metadata signal filters to quickly isolate the photos that need attention — missing GPS location, missing date, screenshots, or Live Photos. Narrow the grid to exactly what matters before you select.
