folino is a score viewer and player for performers.
It is designed to make score reading, playback, and part practice quick and accessible on iPhone and iPad.
Once you open a score, it stays easy to use offline, whether you are in rehearsal, on stage, or reviewing music on the go.
[Supported Formats]
Import MuseScore `.mscz` and `.mscx` files, MusicXML, and MIDI, then play them back while reading the score.
PDF scores are read into real notation on import, so playback, transposition, part visibility, and note editing all work just like any other format. You can switch back to the original PDF at any time.
[Readable by Design]
Switch between vertical scrolling and page mode, then use zoom and cursor movement to quickly check the passage you need.
Show or hide individual parts so you can focus on the staff you need, even on the smaller iPhone screen.
[Annotation]
Write directly on scores and PDFs with Apple Pencil or your finger. Keep fingerings, practice notes, and dynamics right on top of the music.
[Editing]
Enter and delete notes, change pitches, and write chords, ties, and tuplets. Fix what an import got wrong, or rewrite a passage for practice, right where you are reading it.
[Practice Features]
Adjust volume per part, mute or solo individual staves, and change instruments for each part so you can focus on the line you want to hear.
Use A-B repeat, a metronome, and tempo control to work through difficult phrases with repetition.
Background playback is also supported, so you can keep listening while doing other things on your device.
Picture in Picture keeps the score visible in a mini-player while another app is in use, so you can follow along without switching back.
[Stay Organized]
Use playlists and tags to organize your scores by ensemble, event, rehearsal set, or any other workflow that fits your music life.
Group the pieces you need and open them quickly for rehearsal, performance, or review.
