CATO: Buttered Cat is a casual pixel-art puzzle platformer where you control both a cat and a slice of toast. Switch between them, combine their unique abilities, solve clever mechanisms, and set off on a wildly imaginative adventure.

Control the cat as it runs, climbs scratching boards, and even turns into “liquid” to slip through all kinds of strange pipes. That’s right — cats are liquid, of course! Meanwhile, launch the toast along a parabolic arc: hold to charge, then send it flying farther with a satisfying whoosh.

When the cat and toast combine, they trigger the Buttered Cat Paradox! Spin, float, and defy physics to carry the cat to places it could never reach alone.

CATO is built around puzzles with just a touch of action. Most challenges reward observation and clever solutions rather than demanding platforming precision. Explore five distinct worlds filled with varied stages, puzzle mechanics, and whimsical contraptions — from toasters and buttered trampolines to speed-boosting space pipes — along with boss battles and multiple mini-games.

The full adventure features over 200 levels. Secret passages lead to hidden rooms where you can discover mysterious items, Easter eggs, and collectible skins.
