Code Tool can (if you allow it) read data from contacts and events. And also read the current location. You can also share different types of Data through Apples ShareExtensions. Code Tool understands the Data and generate a Barcode with the correct Schema.

Not all type of Codes allow all type of data to be encoded. This is a technical limitation based on the amount of data that can be encoded and the characters that are allowed.
