FocalTiger

FocalTiger is your photographic assistant when it comes to understanding depth of field. Many tools will give you the raw numbers, or label a static diagram. FocalTiger actually shows you depth of field in a live diagram. Choose one of fifteen 3D targets to place in the scene for a real sense of how much will be in focus.

You can choose from many different camera configurations: sensor sizes, lenses, and lens characteristics. You can then save your camera and lens settings as a preset. There are also ready-made presets for recent iPhone models.

With your camera and lens characteristics and a subject chosen, you can then freely adjust focal length (for zoom lenses), aperture, and focus distance to see a live view of how these affect the depth of field.

There are several colour themes to choose from, all supporting dark and light appearance, including a special 'night vision' one.
