Import your own satellite, aerial, and drone imagery as map layers (GeoTIFF or MBTiles). Convert GeoTIFF on device and drape orthophotos under your GIS features offline. Adjust opacity, reorder layers, and zoom to the footprint.

Build the exact data entry form your field work needs. Choose field types like pick lists, radio buttons, multi-select, ratings, photos, signatures, field drawings, and barcode scanning. Entries can be GPS-stamped automatically.

RELATED FORMS

Attach repeatable forms to any layer or feature. Record soil samples, meter readings, inspections, photos, signatures, or maintenance logs against the same map feature. Each entry stays linked, timestamped, and GPS-stamped.

ATTRIBUTE GRID EDITING

Open the attribute table and fix data in place. Tap a cell to edit text, numbers, dates, toggles, and pick lists — with barcode scan and media where supported. Select rows to batch-update a column across many features, bulk-delete, and undo the last change. The same editing works on related-form tables.

SOIL SAMPLING, FROM FIELD TO LAB

Generate numbered sample grids inside any polygon. Print peel-and-stick QR or barcode bag labels, scan them back in the field, walk to each point with GPS guidance, and watch points turn from red to green as you collect.

When lab results return, import a CSV or ZIP of CSV files. GoGIS matches rows to samples by Bag ID and stores dated result records on the points, so season-over-season history stays organized.

HEAT MAPS FROM YOUR DATA

Turn point values into smooth color heat maps clipped to your field. Map lab results like pH, phosphorus, potassium, and organic matter, or other point data such as yield, soil EC, or elevation. Use smooth gradients or blocky management zones and compare fields on one shared color scale.

REAL GIS FILES AND FIELD TOOLS

Open Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML, KMZ, GeoPackage, and CSV. Layer multiple datasets on one map and work with large feature layers, including parcel and infrastructure datasets.

Color-code data by attribute. Search, filter, and explore attribute tables. Create buffer zones, measure distances, and digitize new points, lines, and polygons on the map.

WALK TO DRAW

Draw points, lines, and polygons by walking instead of tapping every location. Turn on Walk to Draw in the Digitize panel, choose a spacing, and GoGIS adds points or vertices from GPS as you move. Mix walking and tapping, pause anytime, and pair with an external GPS receiver for survey-grade accuracy.

EXPORTS AND REPORTS

Export professional PDF map layouts with legend, scale bar, and north arrow. Generate client-ready sampling reports with an overview map and heat-map pages. Share layers as GeoJSON, KML, Shapefile, or CSV, with shapefile exports in 90+ coordinate systems.
