The Malerweg ("Painter’s Way") is a breathtaking 116 km circular hiking route winding through the spectacular landscapes of Saxon Switzerland, near the Czech border in eastern Germany. Known as one of the most scenic trails in the country, it follows in the footsteps of 18th and 19th-century painters and poets who were captivated by its dramatic beauty.
