It waddles across your screen, drags memes in from the edges, chases

your cursor, honks at your Dock, and curls up for a nap on your

wallpaper. You can whack it. It holds a grudge.

WHAT IT GETS UP TO

• Wanders your desktop, leaving muddy footprints behind it

• Drags memes in from the edge of the screen — the ones it came

with, or your own images and your own lines of text

• Chases your pointer, honking, and every so often sets it on fire

• Goes suddenly and briefly berserk

• Naps on your wallpaper, head tucked in, with cartoon z's drifting

off it

• Peeks in from the side of the screen to see whether you noticed

• Struts along the top edge of your windows

• Marches over to the Dock and honks at it

• With more than one goose on screen, they meet up for honking

matches

POKE IT

• Click a goose and it yelps and bolts

• Whack the same one three times in ten seconds and it stops running

away — it comes for your cursor instead

• Clicks anywhere else pass straight through, so it never gets

between you and your work

YOU'RE IN CONTROL

• Up to five geese at once, at whatever speed you like

• Every single behaviour has its own switch — keep the memes, lose

the chasing, or the other way round

• One toggle in the menu bar sends them all home

• Add your own images and write your own meme lines

OPTIONAL EXTRAS, OFF BY DEFAULT

• Screen memes — the goose grabs a square of your actual desktop and

drags that around instead. Needs Screen Recording permission,

which you grant yourself, and it excludes itself from the grab.

• Pointer shoving — it knocks your cursor aside when it pecks at it.

No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. No network access at all —

Rebel Goose ships without the network entitlement, so macOS itself

prevents it from sending anything anywhere. Your memes and your

screen never leave your Mac.
