This is a very simple and useful Tanpura application. This is very useful for students learning Indian classical music. You can set different type of pitch and tune as per your requirement. You can control volume if you need.

What is the difference between male & female Tanpura:

The main difference is pitch and thickness of strings. since male pitch ranging C to D# normally so the gauge of strings is chosen accordingly. Size of Tanpura is also bigger to give more bass and resonance. Female Tanpura pitch range is G to B key and it sounds sharper than Male Tanpura.
