Tintune is a perceptual colour wheel for designers and architects who want to identify colour combinations that feel naturally harmonious.
The app is built on the idea that our experience of colour harmony is not arbitrary, but closely linked to how the human visual system responds to colour relationships. Instead of treating colours as isolated values, Tintune helps you explore how colours interact, balance and resonate with each other.
At the centre of the app is a circular colour wheel with perceptually distributed segments, designed to be explored through direct interaction. The wheel can be rotated, colours can be examined through variants, and relationships can be compared side by side, making harmonies easier to perceive and discuss.
Tintune also includes curated Colour Sessions that approach colour as human experience rather than pure data, supporting learning, reflection and more confident judgement.
Created by a Danish architect with decades of professional practice and a long-standing interest in perception, Tintune is designed to support calmer decisions and clearer dialogue around colour — whether you work alone or together with clients.
