The majority of videos that you record will be—or should be—deleted or significantly trimmed. While you'd normally leave the camera rolling and wait for the action, CineCapture allows you to capture the action after it occurs, rather than before, so why try and anticipate it? 

CineCapture is best for videos that require multiple attempts, such as a trick shot in sports, or subjects that you have no control over, such as lightning or wildlife. It can also be used as a security camera in some situations, such as while driving, as you don't need to save footage if nothing happens.
