Photo Albums and Widget app lets you manage your photos/videos and shared iCloud albums on iPhone or iPad. You can show your photos on home screen using widget. It works with whatever you have on your device plus any iCloud albums shared with you. No need to create new albums for it to work.
The app works for both photos and videos either on device or in the iCloud. It will display available metadata for both photo and video. It also supports video playback including AirPlay.
- Support multiple photo widgets on the home screen. Flexible configurations: one widget for each album or more than one widget for a single album but with different display order.
- When showing photo in widget, it supports date ascending, descending, and random order that will display photos in random order but also minimize the chance of showing the same photo twice until going through all photos in an album.
- The main app can display full photo EXIF metadata including camera settings at the time photo is taken. It can also show GPS coordinates and altitude if recorded in the metadata.
- Support importing from and exporting to external storage when connected via USB-C port
- Support extensive search capabilities. Can search photos/videos 1) by date [yyyymmdd], or 2) by a specific month and day in a year M[mmdd], or 3) by a specific day in a month D[dd].
- Can search by F[avorites] for favorite photos/videos, or by L[ocation] for photos with location data available.
