Draft Rhythm Analyzer

Draft Rhythm Analyzer gives writers a private, deterministic view of an existing draft before the next revision pass.

Import a plain-text or Markdown file from Files, or paste text directly. The app detects Markdown headings, Chapter headings, Prologue, and Epilogue boundaries, then builds one connected analysis across the whole draft and each chapter. Your original file is never modified.

Review chapter word counts, estimated reading time, approximate quoted-dialogue share, sentence and paragraph averages, frequent non-stop words, and opening phrases. Adjustable rules flag long paragraphs, unusually short or long chapters, chapter-length outliers, repeated openings, and high or low dialogue density for a closer read. These are measurements, not a quality score or editorial verdict.

Create a separately named RFC4180 CSV chapter-metrics file and a Markdown rhythm report. Both exports are generated from the same values shown inside the app and shared only when you open the iOS share sheet. Save multiple local analyses, rename them, reanalyze with new thresholds, or delete them at any time.

Draft Rhythm Analyzer is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, accounts, ads, analytics SDKs, tracking, AI APIs, cloud sync, or developer-operated servers. Draft text and analysis stay in the app container unless you explicitly export files.

The app does not rewrite prose, check grammar, detect plagiarism, grade readability, judge story quality, provide publishing services, or synchronize manuscripts.
