Speak Dhurga is one result of a years long collaboration project, Growing Yuin Languages. All spellings of Dhurga works and phonemes are taken from the Dhurga Dictionary and Learner's Grammar by Patricia Ellis, Kerry Boyenga and Waine Donovan. This app contains a mere snapshot of the language as described in this incredible dictionary.
We acknowledge the original custodians of the land on which this app was built, the Brinja-yuin and Djiringanj people of the Yuin nation, and pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging who fought so hard to keep the Dhurga language alive.
