WHAT YOU NEED

Clipolette works on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later.

• Captions need your language's dictation model on the device. If it is missing, Clipolette tells you which one to add — it will never send your audio anywhere to work around it. Translation uses your device's downloaded languages.

• Finding your best moments uses Apple Intelligence, and needs iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 on a device that supports it. Post Kit is written by Apple Intelligence there too; on other devices it still writes one, just more simply.

• Saved projects, smoother slow motion, and running while you switch apps need iOS 26 or iPadOS 26. Enhance needs it too, and appears when your device supports it and your footage is low-res enough to benefit.

• Everything else — captions, translation, reframing, scene detection, trimming and slow motion — works on iOS 18 and later.
