Latent – RAW Film Camera

A latent image is what a frame of film holds after exposure, before development — a picture that already exists, but can't yet be seen. The photograph is born the moment you press the shutter; it just hasn't appeared.

Latent keeps that latent image for every shot you take: the full RAW negative. Any photo can return to that moment — load a different film stock, rebalance the exposure, and develop it again.

Capture

- 48MP ProRAW (DNG), falls back to HEIC on unsupported devices

- Manual EV, shutter, ISO, focus and white balance — just slide to adjust

- Multiple focal lengths / lenses

- 4:3 / 3:2 / 16:9 / 1:1 aspect ratios, HDR supported (and recommended)

- Shoot from the Lock Screen with the Camera Control button

Film simulation

- No need to dig into parameters — building a film look you like is easy

- Tone, warmth, grain and vignette are all adjustable

- Like the colors in some photo? The app can generate a preset from it

- Support LUT import

Photos

- Every shot keeps a clean untouched original plus the DNG; the film look is just a layer on top

- Swap presets, tweak settings, fix exposure, rotate and crop any time after shooting

- All non-destructive — you can revert to the original right in the Photos app

- Import old photos from your library and give them a preset too
