Start as a Peasant with a handful of villagers and a patch of land. Lay down farms, fell timber, quarry stone, and amass gold through trade. Every decision ripples forward - neglect your harvests and hunger spreads; anger your council and Renown slips away. Manage your realm wisely, and you will earn the titles to prove it: Peasant, Lord, Earl, and finally, King.

The hand-crafted isometric board invites you to build with care. Houses cluster around a market square, harbours open to distant trade routes, and at the heart of it all, a coronation castle rises as proof of your reign. Each tile placed is a choice - and a statement of intent.

The seasons turn and the realm does not stay quiet. Plagues sweep through crowded districts, fires consume your timber stores, and seasonal disasters test everything you have built. Survive by keeping your stores full, your armies ready, and your people's happiness above suspicion.

War is yours to wage on your terms. Muster foot soldiers and archers, forge weapons in your workshops, and dispatch campaigns into contested lands. The spoils of victory fund the next generation of your growing kingdom.

Trade rewards those who plan ahead. Lock in multi-turn caravan routes and harbour contracts, but watch the market carefully - prices diminish with every deal, favouring merchants who diversify and think several turns out.

Your royal court is never idle. Council petitions and royal events arrive each turn, each a genuine choice with real consequences. Side with the merchants or the farmers. Tax heavily or earn loyalty the slow way. Every ruling shapes who you become as a monarch.

Guilds add another layer of depth. Join them, take on charters, and spend Guild Favour on powerful one-off boons that can rescue a struggling season or accelerate a kingdom already on the rise.
