SEAT THEM has 4 main objectives:

* Seating plans for all classes in all rooms

* Overview of attendance and participation

* A well-founded assessment basis for participation grades

* Reduce the tedious paperwork as a class teacher.

TEACHING SUPPORT - Capture tables quickly and easily

In the course of a lesson, there are various little things that need to be recorded by the teacher, e.g. attendance, homework, parent signatures, book money, etc., but also class participation, disruptions, etc., if applicable. All of this has to be done quickly and intuitively, as lessons sometimes leave no time for documentation. The app contains examples of aspects that you can largely adapt to your needs:

Beginning of the lesson

At the start of the lesson, in addition to the presence of the students, it may also be necessary to record the extent to which homework and teaching materials are available: A swipe upwards on Peter and his forgotten homework is noted. A swipe to the left and the missed lesson is recorded. And if a student arrives late to class after all, a second swipe to the left is enough and the missed lesson is recorded in the table as a late arrival.

Lessons

Whether it's about participation grades or well-founded feedback for parent-teacher conferences - SEAT THEM allows you to record three different values for students, e.g. active participation, disruption of lessons, etc., which can be freely defined. With each swipe, the counter for the corresponding student is increased and the associated color bar becomes more intense. This allows you to see at a glance who has been recorded more or less frequently.

Class management

As a class teacher, you have to record in various lists whether all monies/signatures/declarations etc. have been submitted. Four such lists can be managed individually for each class with simple swipe gestures. The color bars provide a quick overview of who still has something outstanding.

... and of course seating plans for your cell phone

Knowing the names of the pupils is the first hurdle for many colleagues; this is where a seating plan helps. But once you know the names, the seating plan is the fastest way to find individual students - faster than any table or list; notes can be made for each student in the seating plan using swipe gestures: Attendance, missing homework, class participation and much more.

Room planning

Rooms can be created in the app with their respective table arrangements. The grid can be expanded as required, tables with 1 or 2 desks can be arranged as required and rotated in 90° increments.

Student planning

In student planning, classes can be created and assigned the corresponding students, who can be placed in the created rooms simply by dragging and dropping.

In addition:

Exportable tables are created in the program for each pupil, which contain the corresponding counter values for each lesson. You can also correct these in the table. You can create an individual overview of the recorded data for each pupil.

Text annotations can be recorded for each pupil in each lesson, either because of a fantastic performance or because of an unpleasant incident. The times when a student left class are entered in this text file by the app.
