Skat is Germany’s most popular card game and is played by over 20 million people. Germany’s national game is a 3-player trick-taking game that combines fun, skill and strategy. It is played with a 32 card deck. Each player is dealt 10 cards and the remaining 2 cards form the “skat”. A round is won when one player reaches 61 points or more.
