Travel App for Google Maps is a native macOS travel planner built around your maps. Browse maps in real Mac tabs, save the places you care about, and turn them into a day-by-day trip plan with bookings, spending, checklists, and printable documents - all in one window, stored on your Mac.

• Browse maps in a native Mac window – Multiple tabs, back, forward, Home, and My Location, plus a search field that accepts an address or a place name.

• One-click category search – Chips for Restaurants, Coffee, Gas, Parking, Groceries, Pharmacy, Hotels, Entertainment, ATM, Transit, Bars, and Gyms search the area you are viewing.

• Saved Places library – Keep any place you find, then add notes, a category, a color tag, your own rating, a review, photos, and a pin. Organize everything into colored folders.

• Plan a Trip day by day – Name your trip, set a destination, dates, and budget, and the app will build your itinerary day by day. Add saved places or custom stops with times, drag to reorder or move items between days, then view an entire day as a single route.

• Bookings – Store hotel, restaurant, flight, car rental, and activity confirmations with dates, addresses, and confirmation codes. See them in a month calendar or a list, and get a reminder an hour before each one.

• Spending and Budget – Log spending by category against a trip budget. Entries keep their original currency and convert using daily European Central Bank rates, with a category chart and alerts at 80% and 100%.

• Checklists – Separate packing and to-do lists for every trip, with progress shown everywhere.

• Desktop Widgets – Trip Countdown shows your next trip, Today's Itinerary shows today's stops and lets you tick off tasks from the desktop, and Quick Actions adds Search, New Trip, Save Current Location, and Quick Finder buttons.

• Travel Booklet – Export one polished PDF with a cover page, daily itinerary, bookings, budget summary, checklists, and QR codes that reopen each stop in Google Maps.

• Routes and GPX export – Save reusable multi-stop routes for driving, walking, cycling, or transit, and export any route as a GPX file for Garmin, Apple Watch, and other GPS apps.

• Calendar export – Send a trip, its stops, and its bookings to Apple Calendar, and export again to update the same events instead of duplicating them.

• Weather – Open Apple's Weather app directly to the exact forecast for any saved city, itinerary day, or booking location.

• Journal and Photos – Visits, reviews, notes, and pictures in one dated timeline, plus a photo gallery with captions and a full-size viewer.

• World Clock – Compare your local time with cities around the world, chosen from a built-in catalog of nearly 400 locations. Every clock updates together, handles daylight saving and half-hour time zones correctly, and shows at a glance whether it is day or night there.

• Currency Calculator – A simple calculator that instantly converts its result into every supported currency at once, using the same daily European Central Bank rates.

• Menu Bar item – Search the maps and reopen recent places straight from the menu bar, without bringing up the main window.

• Quick Finder – Press Command-K anywhere in the app to open a fast search panel that finds your saved places, folders, trips, and routes as you type, and also runs actions such as New Tab, New Trip, and Save Current Place.

• Backup and restore – Save a full XML backup of your library, settings, and photos, then restore it by replacing or merging. JSON export included.

• Dark Mode – Follow macOS or force light or dark; the map follows too.
