The exercises can be done at home, but also while sitting in the train, plane or office. No special knowledge or means are required for the practice.

Yoga nidra is a relaxation and meditation method that encompasses all levels of the human being: it releases muscular tensions, as well as mental and emotional. Therefore yoga nidra can be used as an effective method in stress reduction.

Yoga nidra is not a physical yoga practice that requires demanding poses. The only thing you have to do, is to lie down as comfortable as possible on your yoga mat, in the bed, (or while sitting in the train or plane) remain in stillness and follow the clear and simple instructions.

Through the regular practice of yoga nidra the stress hormones are reduced, the regenerative body functions and the immune system are stimulated.
