Apply the frozen ranking-volatility protocol to complete daily iOS Top Free Top 100 snapshots, then report each storefront independently using adjacent-day movement, Top 100 exits, re-entry, unique-App, and continuing-App measures without a composite score or cross-market ranking.
- Use only the frozen storefront cohort: US, GB, JP, KR, DE, FR, ES, CN, TW, and IN; platform iOS; chart Top Free; overall chart with no genre filter.
- Require every storefront/date from 2026-08-23 through 2026-09-05 to contain exactly 100 rows, 100 distinct ranks, 100 distinct App IDs, and the complete rank range 1 through 100 before running the analysis.
- For Apps present in two adjacent complete snapshots, calculate the absolute day-to-day rank difference and summarize the median, 75th, 90th, and 95th percentiles separately for each storefront.
- Count a Top 100 exit when an App is present on one complete day and absent from the next complete day; divide exit events by the fixed 1,300 possible app-day transition slots per storefront.
- Count a re-entry when an App is observed, is absent for at least one later complete snapshot, and is then observed again within the fixed window.
- Report storefronts in the frozen protocol order. Do not create a composite volatility score or rank markets against one another.
