Faster item entry with AI and voice

Photograph a household item and PackQR can suggest a name and quantity to reduce typing.

You can also add several items naturally by voice. For example, say:

“Candles, tea towels, three mugs and a spice rack.”

AI suggestions and voice additions can be collected into one temporary Pack Batch, allowing you to:

• Scan several items one after another

• Correct an AI suggestion by voice

• Add anything the camera cannot see using voice

• Review and edit all pending items together

• Remove unwanted items before saving

• Confirm the completed batch once

Nothing in the Pack Batch changes your saved inventory until you choose Confirm box.

Voice entry is designed for adding new items. Existing saved items can still be moved, edited or removed using PackQR’s Manage tools.

Voice input is currently available in English (UK and US) on supported devices.

AI Pack Scan

AI Pack Scan uses your camera to suggest names and quantities for visible household items.

Recognition is a helpful shortcut, not a guarantee. It will not recognise every object, and results can vary with the specific item, camera angle, lighting, background, distance and visibility.

Every result can be reviewed or edited before it becomes part of your inventory.

Optional on-device learning can remember examples you deliberately teach or correct. Suggestions for similar objects may improve as packing continues, but personalised recognition is still not expected to be perfect.

Private by design

• Core image recognition runs on your device using Apple Vision

• Voice input uses Apple on-device speech recognition when supported

• PackQR does not store your voice recordings

• PackQR does not fall back to online speech recognition

• Item photos are not sent to an external AI-recognition service

• AI recognition does not require an active internet connection

• No PackQR account or PackQR cloud backend

• Your move data stays locally on your device

• Backups are manual files that you export when you choose

• QR codes and printed labels do not contain your private box contents
