One Mekong

The MRC One Mekong Mobile App is developed to support the information sharing of MRC Core River Monitoring Network (CRMN) Functions. These include Water Quality Monitoring, Hydrology Monitoring, Sediment Monitoring, Environmental Health Monitoring, Fisheries Monitoring, Climate and Precipitation Monitoring, Hydropower operation, and Flood and Drought Monitoring and Forecasting.

The primary objectives of the MRC mobile app are to:

i) Send push notifications and alerts for flood, drought, weather and disaster warnings,

ii) Improve the reporting and sharing of MRC's river monitoring functions with a user-friendly interface,

iii) Present an interactive map with customizable layers to effectively correlate remote sensing and ground data,

iv) integrate AI technology for autogenerated weather reports and impact simulations,

v) Enable users to view live CCTV from various monitoring stations,

vi) Introduce iReport features for a community-based early warning system, allowing users to share flood, drought, and livelihood incidents with photos, locations, and comments,
