■ How to use

1. Set your work time (default: 25 minutes)

2. Set your break time (default: 5 minutes)

3. Press the Start button to begin the timer

4. When time is up, the cat appears

5. Take a break until the countdown ends

■ How the timer works

- Cat Gatekeeper Desktop does not collect or record browser or website activity.

- It runs based on the work and break times you set.

- When the work time ends, a cat appears to remind you to take a break.

- Turn on “Keep in menu bar” to use the app from the menu bar even after closing its window.

- Turn on “Auto repeat” to automatically start the next work session after a break.

- Use the “Shoo cat” button to dismiss the cat at any time.

■ Privacy

Cat Gatekeeper Desktop does not record your browser history, visited websites, app usage, keyboard input, or screen contents.

Timer settings, downloaded cat data, and other information required for the app to function are stored on your computer.
