DevTools for Xcode, Homebrew

DevTools for Xcode is a native macOS utility for Xcode storage, release information, image assets, and Homebrew package information.

Xcode

• Browse Xcode releases, system requirements, Swift versions, and platform SDKs

• Open Apple download and Release Notes pages

• Scan Device Support, Archives, Derived Data, Documentation Cache, iOS Device Logs, and SwiftUI Preview Data

• Review storage by category and delete selected items after confirmation

• Generate macOS, iOS, and watchOS App Icons from one source image

• Generate @1x, @2x, and @3x PNG files

Homebrew

• Browse Formula and Cask versions, descriptions, install counts, and details

• Search packages and sort by name or 30-, 90-, and 365-day install counts

• View locally installed packages and versions after authorizing a Homebrew root folder

• Compare local and catalog versions

• Review allocated download cache size by package and version after separately authorizing the Homebrew cache folder

• Permanently remove selected cache items after confirmation

Folder Access and Deletion

Folder access is requested through the macOS system panel. Installed package scans are read-only.

Deleting selected Xcode files or Homebrew cache items is permanent. The app only deletes items explicitly selected and confirmed by the user.
