GoldRatio

GoldRatio is a program for ratio charts. Ratios are a powerful tool to compare the performance of two assets over a certain period of time.

The program calculates ratio charts of 60 different values (commodities, currencies, indexes, stocks and bond futures). For example the gold/silver ratio or the dow/oil ratio. Every combination is possible, even more exotic charts like for example the price of apple shares in soybeans.

The app can also be used to calculate commodity price charts in various currencies. (F.e.: The silver/euro ratio is the price for silver in euro)

Two ratios can be compared in the same chart. The charts can be displayed with absolute ratio values or with percent values. In percent mode both charts start at 100%

Depending on the data up to 12 different time frames between 45 days and 180 years can be calculated.

38 Days, 200 Days or 10 Years averages can be shown, too.

GoldRatio2 stores the settings for 15 different ratio charts (Bookmarks). You can scroll through the charts by dragging them with your finger from left to right.

The program is resolution independent and takes full advantage of iPad or retina screen resolutions. It works in portrait or landscape mode.

This app works very intuitive and is easy to use. Ratio's are very broad. Personally I would like to include the consumer price index (for some major economies) as a ratio, perhaps this can be done in a future version.
