The reciter, Mahmoud Siddiq Al-Minshawi, was born in 1943 in Al-Manshah Center in Sohag Governorate, southern Egypt. He memorized the Noble Qur’an at the age of eight, and he belongs to a noble Quranic family. He is the son of a reciter, Siddiq Al-Minshawi, and the brother of a reciter, Muhammad Siddiq.

Mahmoud Siddiq Al-Minshawi was certified as a reciter on the radio in 1970 AD, and he recorded the Qur’an as a reciter. He has many recitations recorded on Egyptian radio and from the major mosques in Egypt.
