Tesla Field Meter

Tesla Field Meter measures the magnitude of the magnetic field using your iPhone or iPad's built-in magnetometer. It responds to both static (DC) magnetic fields and the alternating magnetic field radiated by AC electrical sources such as microwave ovens, power lines, and household electronics.

The research on the adverse biological effects of magnetic field exposure, whether static or alternating, is inconclusive — so it's best to practice prudent avoidance. Low level magnetic fields are naturally generated by the Earth. Higher level fields are generated by sources such as microwave ovens and the clock radio next to your bedside.

Use the Tesla Field Meter to make a qualitative assessment of the strength of magnetic field exposure in your environment.
