NOTE: Websites may still use fingerprinting techniques to determine what browser you are using. Unguent does not actually change the browser engine used by Safari.

The user agent tells a website what browser (including the version) you are currently using. By detecting the user agent, websites can change their behavior appropriately (such as by disabling features where not supported).

Unagent does not collect any data, and only rewrites the User-Agent header where necessary.
