tamga is a 3D sculpting, form modeling, vertex painting, pose deforming, ink drawing and stylized rendering app made for hobbyists, artists, concept sculptors and beginners.

No accounts. No subscriptions. No ads. Just a quiet space to sculpt.

The interface stays out of your way. Every tool is reachable in one or two taps, so you spend your time creating, not hunting through menus. Pick up your Apple Pencil and start shaping.

Screenshots include a public domain model from Virtual Museums of Małopolska for the écorché being posed and another model of a crouching creature from PurplePoint at sketchfab. For the lighting demonstration with the DOME widget, a model from Niyazi Selimoglu is also used with permission. These models are used to demonstrate various rendering and deformation features and also used to demonstrate that you can import models from external sources.

SCULPT

Start with the form tab to put your primitives and mold them before you jump to try all the sculpting brushes you actually need packaged neatly and with dynamic topology support where needed... Remesh on the fly to add detail while you iterate. No multiple resolutions tracking or worrying about topology...

PAINT

Apply color directly onto your mesh with vertex painting. No UV maps, no texture files, just pick a color and start brushing. Paint not just flat albedo but also roughness, metal, scatter, and glass...

POSE

Bend and reposition parts of your sculpture with a simple pose tool. Explore silhouettes and gestures without rigging.

SKETCH

Draw ink lines in 3D space to block out ideas, add stylized form lines or annotate your work.

RENDER

Switch between stylized rendering mode called paper mode, matcap or just PBR, to see your sculpture in different lights instantly. You can swap preset IBL maps as well as position your own key and ambient lights.

IMPORT & EXPORT

Bring in OBJ files from Blender or other 3D tools. Export your finished work as OBJ or just render an image to share.
