Dial Tone - Rhythm Game

Dial Tone is a rhythm game where you make the music.

Three concentric rings glow on a dark screen, divided into quarter notes, eighth notes, and sixteenth notes. Lasers fire in from the corners, placing colored blocks onto the rings. A beat hand sweeps like a clock, and every block it passes plays a note. Your job: rotate the rings and fill one completely to clear it.

But here‘s the catch. As outer rings fill up, they become obstacles. A laser that collides with the wrong ring ends the game. The fuller the rings get, the more you‘re juggling, and the more complex the music becomes.

There are no points. Your score is the tempo. You start slow, and every time you clear a ring, the BPM ticks up. How fast can you go?

The music is yours. No two sessions sound the same. Every block you place adds notes to a chord. The result is a polyrhythmic, ever-changing composition that you‘re building as you play. A song that no one has heard before and no one will hear again.
