El Niño brings live public NOAA data into a focused iPhone instrument. Today combines the ENSO Signal Score with Niño 3.4 and RONI confirmation. Daily sea-surface-temperature anomaly maps show where warming or cooling sits across the Pacific, while charts reveal short-term momentum without hiding thresholds or source dates.
Progress searches completed historical events using RONI, weekly and monthly Niño 3.4, and Pacific SST patterns. The closest comparisons include full trajectories, peak and end timing, and map views at the historical peak. Scores describe relative similarity—not forecast probability.
A Home Screen widget keeps the latest complete read nearby and can issue local alerts when key thresholds or score bands change. Data refreshes directly from public NOAA/CPC, NOAA/NCEI, and NOAA/PSL sources where applicable.
El Niño is independent climate context. It is not an official forecast, warning service, emergency tool, or financial, insurance, agricultural, legal, safety, or local-weather adviser.
