Created a macOS version from iOS version via Mac Catalyst. Same UI and some macOS menu options. macOS Catalina (version 10.15) is required to run this macOS version.
Payer/Payee changed to From/To. Date, Means, From/To and Memo fields changed from center to left aligned. Fixed bug with searching for From/To. Allows deletion of iCloud accounts in Settings. Since Bundle ID has changed, users need to save to device and move to desktop and then copy to new app.
ATTENTION:USERS OF PREVIOUS VERSIONS WHO USE iCloud MUST READ THIS BEFORE UPDATING. Due to an App identifying change, save your data to iCloud, or save them in Finder (in Catalina) to any location and add them to this version.
CheckPad is a simple digital version of a check book. Transactions are presented on the screen the same way they are in a check book register. This is not an online bill payment application and therefore doesn’t have access to any bank data via the internet. It replaces most of the paper in your drawers, shoe box and on your desks. With this app you can keep track of your money by tracking transactions like you normally do with your checkbook. CheckPad offers the following advantages:
- help save the trees
- Printing now supported despite the app premise. Some users just can't do without a hard copy.
- make clean transaction register entries without messy corrections
- correct transaction dates
- familiar layout
- so simple to use an 8 year old (who keeps a register) can use it without help
- offers password protection to prevent unauthorized access
- a small memory foot print and fast
- doesn’t require the internet to use it (except backing up accounts to iCloud)
