The App uses the Uyghur Latin Yëziqi (ULY) transiliteration system. It is widely used since 2000 and now officially approved by the Xinjiang Language and Script Committee.

Uyghur is the language of everyday communication for nearly 8 million people, most of them Muslims in Xinjiang of China. Written in a modified Arabic script, Uyghur is closely related to Uzbek. The standard Uyghur is understood everywhere in Xinjiang .
