App Store price history tracker

Track observed App Store price history and meaningful price changes.

Search an app to review mature historical price records. AppPriceData stores price changes separately from freshness checks so a history timeline does not grow simply because the same unchanged price was checked again.

History rule · Data maturity

Price-history pages publish only after enough time and observations.

A price-history route becomes indexable only after the app reaches the same maturity gate used by the price-history sitemap: at least 3observations spanning at least 14 days. This keeps one-off snapshots from masquerading as a trend.

Timeline rule · Meaningful changes

Repeated checks are not the same as repeated price changes.

AppPriceData records freshness independently. The visible historical series focuses on distinct observed price points, making it easier to identify a genuine increase, decrease, historical low, or historical high.

Current price · Regional context

Pair history with today's observed regional App Store prices.

Historical movement answers when the stored amount changed. Regional pricing answers what the same app currently costs across available storefronts. These are related questions, but they use different evidence and should remain separately inspectable.

Evidence · Reproducibility

Use the data catalog and research pages to verify broader pricing patterns.

The public data catalog documents current coverage and source boundaries, while original studies publish their observation windows, methodology, evidence URLs, and correction path separately from individual app histories.

How to use the tracker

Start with the app, then open its mature history.

Search by app name or App Store ID. On an eligible app detail page, the price history link opens the app's dated historical series. If a history is still too sparse, AppPriceData keeps the current price available without publishing a thin historical landing page.
