Level Lift is a simple way to fix quiet audio in iPhone videos.
Choose a video from Photos, let Level Lift measure the audio already inside it, then export a new copy with a clearer, stronger level. It is designed for videos recorded with an audio interface such as an iRig, where the take sounds good but the finished video is too quiet compared with other clips.
Level Lift keeps the original video untouched. It creates a separate processed movie, lets you compare the original and normalised versions, and only saves the new copy to Photos when you choose to.
Features:
- Import MOV and MP4 videos from Photos
- Peak mode for straightforward audio normalisation
- Adjustable peak ceiling, with a default of -0.1 dBFS
- Optional Boost control for pushing quiet performances into a limiter
- Social mode targeting -14 LUFS with a -1.0 dB limiter ceiling
- Original and normalised preview switching
- Save the finished video back to Photos
- Share the finished video through the standard iOS share sheet
- Preserves the original video track instead of re-encoding the image
- Local-only processing, with no account and no cloud upload
- Works on iPhone and iPad
Peak mode is useful when you want to raise a clean recording to a chosen maximum level while keeping the existing performance dynamics intact.
Social mode is useful when you want a practical loudness target for Instagram, TikTok, or similar short-form video platforms.
Level Lift does not add EQ, noise reduction, or broadband compression. It focuses on one job: making the audio in your video easier to use without the extra desktop workflow of extracting, normalising, re-syncing, and exporting again.
